MODEL: 15m beached Sperm Whale
In 2023 arts collective Captain Boomer from Belgium approached CDM to create a 15m beached Sperm Whale for the Adelaide Festival.
Captain Boomer engaged with councils to install the whale in the middle of the night, staging a mock beaching.
The brief also covered the whale needing to disassemble and fit into a 12m container for international festivals.
