CDM Studio is a specialist model-making, fabrication, and design company based in Perth, Western Australia. We create interpretive, zoological models and artistic works for museums, visitor centres, and public spaces.
With 17+ years of experience, we are a trusted partner for government, arts, architecture, mining, and commercial clients. Our end-to-end process covers consultation, budgeting, digital sculpting, CAD, material research, engineering certification, and installation.

Our History
- CDM Studio was established in 1998 by Daniel Browne as Creative Design Models, beginning as a freelance model-making service for advertising companies.
- In the early years, we created large props for shopping centres and themed environments for zoos and museums, working by hand with foam, clay, and fibreglass moulds.
- By 2010, we expanded to collaborate with builders, architects, and exhibition designers, steadily growing our expertise and reach.
- In 2015, we became CDM Studio Pty Ltd, formalising our operations.
Now an established global supplier, CDM Studio delivers high-quality projects throughout Australasia and international markets.
